Bottom left picture: a student receives his diploma. Bottom right picture: Carl Nimnicht of the V.U. Alumni Association addresses the graduates. Text: Describes the January 13, 1972 luncheon given for the Fall 1971 graduates. Diplomas were presented by the Division Chairmen. Dr. J. Edward Klinker, Dean of Faculty, presided at the luncheon. Rev. Mike Jacobs gave the invocation, and Father Bernard Lutz gave the benediction. Right page: POLITICIANS CANVASS CAMPUS: Top picture: Dr. Otis R. Bowen, M.D., speaker of the House of Representatives of Indiana addresses students at the Christmas Convocation. Bottom picture: Senator Birch Bayh (D-Ind) presented a politically-oriented speech in Green Auditorium on January 12, 1972, as well as a question and answer period on the Vietnam War and the Democratic Party.
