VOO ROAD SHOW: A group of students who, under the direction of Dean Livingstone, traveled the local area to perform vocal, instrumental, and oratorical selections. Performers: Patsy Nichols, vocalist; Norma Stultz, vocalist; Merilyn Morgan, piano. Dick Ertel played self-composition, "The Voo Boogie". The Voo Quintet: Professor Herrick, string bass; Staley Slawson, percussion; Chet Massie, accordion; George Combs, alto sax and clarinet; Bill Wertman, guitar. Stuart Stevens, Master of Ceremonies. Mahmut Ozan, a student from Turkey, presented interesting talks on these programs.
