V.U. CHORUS: Organized by Prof. Paul Sebring with approximately 22 members. The group is somewhat inactive due to an inability to meet. During the past two years, the chorus has entertained at convocations, taken part in a radio show in conjunction with the English Department, and contributed to the commencement exercises.V.U. BAND: Dick Ertel, Director. Members: John Clark, saxophone; Earl Cruser, baritone; Merilyn Morgan, piano; Ray Miller, bass drum; Howard Belcher, snare drum; Robert Bell, clarinet; Bob Smith, clarinet; Bill Eskew, clarinet; Leona Conn, clarinet; Robert Woodall, trumpet; Jim Berry, trumpet. This flourishing little aggregation of musicians has supplied music for convocations, making its informal debut at the Annual Benefit Basketball Game.
