Back row: Paul Morrical, Robin Overbey, Andy Kistler, Mike Logan, Dave Dugan, Allan Chu, Tom Dowden. Not present: Sally Harmon. Dr. J. Edward Klinker, Dean of Faculty; John Glennon, Freshman Class President: presiding over convocation. Deborah Brooks, senior and Miss V.U. 1976: performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner", senior and 1975-76 Student Senate President: swearing-in of Mary Nalin as 1976-77 Senate President. John Glennon, Freshman Class President, announced that the Freshman Class gift to the University was a water fountain to be installed at the I-M Field. Outstanding Freshmen received Blue Cord Awards. Student Senate gave Bronze, Silver, and Gold Activity Key Awards.
