Left page: DEDICATIONS: Text: Describes the Nov. 16, 1986 rededication of the Shake Learning Resources Center and the dedication of the new "College Walk". SHAKE LRC ADDITION: Includes a computer classroom and lab, doubled bookstack space, more study tables and carrels, three new meeting rooms, a new circulation desk, microform reader printers, and an area for bibliographic retrieval. Describes history of Shake Library, dedicated in 1960 and named for Curtis G. Shake, with the addition of the Byron R. Lewis Historical Library wing in 1967. COLLEGE WALK: During Summer 1986, 23 students used 80,000 bricks to complete the "College Walk" from Harrison Street to Indianapolis Ave. over the former First Street.
