RESIDENCE: Describes requirement of spending the full Senior year at V.U. to receive a diploma, credit for work done elsewhere. DEGREES: Describes policy of not granting degrees, with the two exceptions of an honorary Degree of Divinity given to Rev. B. B. Killikelly, President of Vincennes University in 1841; second degree given to Rev. Carter. CADET SCHOLARSHIP: Describes policy of a cadet scholarship being given to one student from each county in the state, with the assistance of the student's representative and county superintendent. Right page: Form: Cadet Scholarship Application Form, with blanks to be filled in. RULES GOVERNING CADET SCHOLARSHIPS: Lists rules, including minimum age of sixteen, minimum height of five feet four inches, and good health; term of one school year.
