Back cover: VINCENNES VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS: PURPOSE: Describes organization and purpose of providing instruction and training to people of the city, offering trade extension, trade preparation, Home Making, Commercial Studies and Practice, General Academic Self-Improvement. FOR WHOM: Describes classes open to all persons over 17 years of age, especially mechanics, wage earners, women as homemakers, those desiring self-improvement. THE COST: Describes the State Vocational Law, courses being offered free of charge, maintained by the local school board and State Dept. of Public Instruction, with exceptions listed (fees). THE TIME: Describes nine-week fall term, two nights per week (Mon. and Wed. or Tues. and Thurs.), describes second term. THE PLACE: Describes registration at the High School, with advance registration available October 16, 1916, with classes meeting in the High School (Fifth and Buntin Sts.) and Vincennes University (Fifth and Busseron Sts.) in the first term, and the New Junior High School (Sixth and Buntin Sts.) in the second term.
