SHORT STORY CONTEST: Describes annual contest in short story writing during second semester, with prize, required to relate to some phase of home life, read during commencement week. EXPRESSION PRIZES: Describes annual contest, using vocal interpretation of great orations, with prizes, used as a preparation for the oratory contest. PEACE PRIZES: Describes the oratorical contests held annually, prize of $25, winner to represent Vincennes University in the Indiana State Peace Contest; large money prize at the State level, opportunity to compete for national prize, under the Intercollegiate Peace Association, orations about war and peace. Local contest in March, State contest in May, National contest in June.
