OUTLINE OF COURSE FOR CLASS B, Describes required subjects, continuance of Class A subjects, electives in philosophy, credit for pre-vocational work not to exceed one half of total, no omission of professional work, limit of ten absences per 12 week term, with emergency cases going through the President of the Normal School or the College to the State Superintendent. Right page: OUTLINE OF COURSE FOR CLASS B, cont.: Describes requirement of all work being done in the same institution, minimum of 12 weeks. VOCATIONAL TRAINING: Describes the Vocational Law of Indiana, requirement that after Sept. 1, 1915, all teachers of Elementary Agriculture, Industrial Work or Domestic Science to pass an examination by the State Board of Education, opportunity to take courses at the university. OBSERVATION WORK & PRACTICE TEACHING: Describes practice teaching as the source of strength for beginning teachers; arrangement of the university to place students in the city schools, grades primary through sixth, under charge of Critic Teachers and a Supervisor; removal of errors and blunders, offered during summer term, a graded school maintained by the university for the purpose.
