SIGMA PI: Describes the Alpha chapter of this social fraternity, reactivated in 1965, originally founded at V.U. in 1897, with national headquarters at Shadowwood, the estate built near Vincennes by the late Col. Eugene C. Wharf in 1916. Right page: HEALTH: Describes requirement of a physical examination, inoculations, a statement of health habits, due by the end of the second week of classes, with a second tuberculosis test required for the second year. PHYSICAL EDUCATION: Describes regular instruction, intercollegiate sports, intramural sports, physical development, the All-Student Intramural Athletic Program, basketball team in the Kentuckiana Junior College Conference, the NJCAA national championship recently won by the Trailblazer basketball team in Hutchinson, Kansas, with classes and games held in the Ray C. ILLNESS, ACCIDENTS & LIABILITY: Describes liability insurance carried by the university against accidents caused by negligence, examinations by the University physician, right to go to student's own physician, student's personal financial responsibility for treatment, full-time duty nurse for minor accidents or illness.
