Left page: COMMENCEMENT 1961: At Year's End: Top picture: Students line up to enter The Robert E. Green Auditorium for the baccalaureate exercises. Graduation was moved indoors to Adams Coliseum (downtown Vincennes) due to bad weather. Left picture: Speaker: Rev. Dr. Edward Duncan, Chaplain of the Newman Foundation at the University of Illinois. Governor Matthew E. Welsh, the scheduled speaker, could not be present due to a grounded plane. Bottom picture: SENIOR PROM: Queen Gloria Miller and her escort preside over the year-end Senior Prom in Green Auditorium. Queen Gloria was crowned by James McGuire, President of the freshman class. The Senior Prom had an Oriental theme. Right page: TITLE PAGE: ACTIVITIES 1960: Artwork: a tree that has been felled by an axe, with a one-way sign, and an upward-pointing arrow. The next section features activities from the 1959-1960 academic year, in which no yearbook was published.
