Text: Describes the tenth season of the Playhouse, including "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on Nov. 7 and 8, 1963, in Green Auditorium, commemorating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth and the 10th anniversary of the first performance on campus at V.U. Costume designer was Sheila Tarrant Wilkes, V.U. Playhouse President. Miss Amy Goodhue Loomis, head of the drama department, Director of the V.U. Playhouse and Children's Theatre, and founder of the Drama Workshop, celebrated her tenth year with the University theatre. The spring production was Maxwell Anderson's "Joan of Lorraine."
